London Marathon 2008

May 10th, 2007 by Pete

I have applied to run the London Marathon in 2008, the charity I am hoping to run for is Get Kids Going! a unique, national charity that gives disabled children and young people the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport.

I hope that as loyal readers of my blog you will be sponsoring me. I began my training last night by sitting on my arse, drinking beers, and watching Kill Bill – Part 1, which has inspired me to purchase a yellow tracksuit.

Not having much luck finding the tracksuit, however you can get the trainers from here http://www.shoemans.co.uk/acatalog/onitsuka-tiger.html

  2. Kyle Nene Says:

I’ll only sponsor you if you get hold of that yellow tracksuit and wear it in the marathan

You gotta sponsor me, I need to raise £1700!

If I can find one of the yellow tracksuits I will buy it and wear it, although I want a real tracksuit not a fancy dress outfit.

I’d prefer to see Pete Graham run the marathon wearing some short-short or a leotard.

  5. Kyle Nene Says:

you’ll definitely need to do something that will get you on tv.

This tracky was first worn by Bruce Lee, in Game of Death (of which he only shot 40 mins before dying) when he fought the 7ft.2 Kareem Abdul Jabbar. As we all know Quentin Tarantino doesn’t have an original thought in his head and this extends to wardrobe selection in his movies. You will find it easier to find in a ‘China town’ as Bruce Lee memorabilia. Top tip
