There’s been a lot of discussions about Mullets over on phuser.com today, while I was researching who invented the term mullet I stumbled upon an excellent website called “James Hetfield Hair Watch” my favourite part of this site is the Hetfield Hair: Graphical Analysis Trends I urge you to check out this site for the graph alone (god I love stats)! Also good is A Pictorial History of James Hetfield’s Hair.

The word “Hetfield” appears as a spelling mistake in Microsoft Word, apparently Bill Gates thinks you’ve spelt “Hatfield” incorrectly! From my research it appears that the Beastie Boys invented the term mullet but I have yet to find concrete proof of this.

Iron Maiden are head-lining the Donington Download festival this year, which I’m very keen on going to. I’d like to add that Google Image search is rubbish it took me ages to find a picture of Bruce Dickinson with a beard! This is quite shocking when you consider he’s the 3rd best Iron Maiden vocalist!

Earlier in the week I wrote about St Patricks Day and the commercialisation of it by Guinness. This year they are going even further and releasing special edition Guinness Marmite to “celeberate”.

The spread is non-alcoholic and is made using a strain of yeast used to create Guinness. I’m not quite sure how I feel about his as I love a bit of Marmite but am not too keen on the Monochromatic Beverage. I’d imagine the special edition spread is quite tasty, the reason I don’t really like Guinness is I feel it has an almost food like flavour (as opposed to a refreshing larger taste).

If you want some 300,000 jars have gone on sale and it is being stocked by Tesco’s. If you can’t find any in the shops then there’s plenty going on eBay.

Apologies to my loyal readers for my lack of Blogging this week. My hosting provider phpwebhosting.com have been particularly rubbish and I haven’t been able to reach the site some days lets alone post articles.

Obviously this has been very frustrating and I will be looking into changing hosting providers. I shall be posting a longer article ranting about this on my Tech Blog later today.

Some readers may notice their comments from earlier this week are missing, this is also due to phpwebhosting.com being rubbish, I shall look into getting the comments restored today if possible.

The site seems to be working now so normal Blogging will resume!
